On Monday, January 29, the EWST Educational Center held a conversation/debate about freedom, with the participation of the rectors of three Wroclaw universities – the Evangelical School of Theology (EWST), the University of Wrocław (UW), and the Pontifical Faculty of Theology (PFT).

This year’s Reformation Days and other October events related to Protestantism in Lower Silesia took place in connection with the 500th anniversary of the Reformation.

On Saturday, October 14th, the inauguration of the academic year was held at the Evangelical School of Theology, combined with the introduction and welcome of new students. Inaugural lecture was delivered by Dr. Jacek Ossowski, Chairman of the Wroclaw City Council.

The VII Festival of Protestant Culture – “500 Years of Reformation”, was held in Wroclaw, Poland from May 7-14, 2017. Throughout the week in many places of Wroclaw there were a number of events relating to Protestant heritage, past, present and future. Thousands of people came to these events which were also widely reported in the media.
