The board of Evangelical School of Theology comprises spiritually mature believers committed to the doctrinal statement and mission of EST. The board gives oversight to the school by approving the annual budget, approving any significant changes in the mission or program direction of the school, and is responsible for giving oversight to the Rector.
In addition to the oversight roles, the board is also responsible for helping raise funds to support the school and to be involved in promoting the school. The board members pay their expenses to travel to board meetings and each devotes considerable time to the school. Finally, each board member is committed to praying for the school, the students, the staff, and the faculty.
